Welcome to the year 2004. We lost a lot of musicians, activists and humanitarians last year and there are some pretty big Shoes to fill because of this we all must a little harder than before.  This is a time of great change we need to look tothe future without neglecting the present.  There a lot of people suffering in this country daily.  The myth that things are getting better, is just that a myth fueled by a propaganda machine under the direction of  Karl Rove.  This is why this year will change the way our country thinks.  If Bush is elected he will pick the justices who replace the current justices in the Supreme court.  This is a huge problem considering if  He does we will be stuck with an even more facist Supreme court. This is why I really encourage you to vote in the election, I know its not popular to say this, but we need every vote so that we can get to drive Bush out we can't take another 4 years really if we do Bush will probably consider us all traitors and we wont be able leave this country fast enough.  So please vote so that we the disillusioned counter culture can begin the takeover over our political system which is the only way we will ever get the things we want from government there are enough moderates lets stir it up and bring our voices into the political arena.  We dont have to become politicians, We can be concerned citizens who will not be silent anymore who have had enough!  The new year does look bright considering the ever changing political climate.  The soldiers in Iraq hate Bush and would pay to string him up in a public square.   So theyre coming home pissed not to mention the Veterans Administration is being strangled by Karl 'Rove's puppetry of the Bush doll while Bush smiles like the complete moron He is while he talks about taking care of Americas fighting forces which means to him leaving them to die!  I know we all had a friend or two who for some reason we can't begin to understand joined the military if you don't You may not be hearing about how they have become completely disillusioned with the current administration.  I have two friends in the gulf while I may not agree or approve of their decisions, I can honestly say when I hear about another soldier getting killed in Iraq there is a part of me wondering when the phone will ring saying either I'm home or He was killed which chills me to the bone.  Everytime I or one of my friends has had a chance to talk to these people they have been ready to come home at a seconds notice.  The reason I bring this up is this record label is extremely anti-Bush we hate the man with a passion and I believe He is guilty of Treason along with his cabinet and should be tried by the world court at the Hague for election tampering I also believe Gore should have refused the results of the election and refused to give up control of the White house.  I also wanted to talk about an organization called Bands against Bush.  Bands Against Bush is a very good idea but, where is the money going?  I keep seeing Bands Against Bush having benefits but where is the money I welcome any information into where the funds are being used if you know the answer please let me know.  I also wish to apologize for the failed attempt to begin BUSHCOTT.  I have been extremely busy and I want to let everyone know that we are not trying to make fun of Bands Against Bush just make sure it as an organization has been using it's influence wisely.  I know that some organizations start out with a very positive message but after awhile become a social club and this my worry.  I have seen some discouraging behavior this year in regards to a lack of diversity within some political organizations.  This is not the place to act like a fucking honky excuse my language but believe me close minds destroy all we work towards and no is buying the diversity thru white indie rock argument.  If you say you want to encourage diversity then don't be pissed when you finally have some diversity within your organization.  I also have been going thru some tough truths most of you don't know but I have an almost crippling back injury and have been in extreme pain for the last 2 years.  I have fibromyalgia which affects many and I can tell you some choose an easy yet thoughtless way out of the pain ,most just take enough pain killers to knock out a bull.  I have chosen to mentally deal with which can mean alot of things.  The first being you are easily irratated by most anything.  The second you cannot let anyone who you work for know that you are in excrusiating pain even at your worst when you and I won't name names but you know who you are, they immediately consider you a burden even when your a volunteer who is trying to stay vital when you can't work if you have a boss like this remember a boot to the head wouldn't even make an impression and you should quit if they don't understand you just want to make a difference not forward your ego.  Third remember that your actions should not injure others cause you are in pain.  Pain is a very powerful thing but if youre lucky you can reduce it by not acknowledging it.
